The project ACTOR (Ana­ly­sis, crea­ti­on, and Te­a­ching of Or­che­stra­ti­on) covers manifold aspects of orchestration in the frame of an international collaboration of 30 part­ners at universities and companies in the field of music production.

During a funding period of 7 years the exchange of experts and early stage researchers is funded. Current reserach is organised in synergy with the ITN-Pro­jekt „VRACE“ with investigation of ensemble sound. First results have been published at the In­ter­na­tio­nal Sym­po­si­um on Mu­sic Acou­stics – IS­MA.

Mit ei­ner 7-jäh­ri­gen För­de­rung wird der Aus­tausch so­wohl von Ex­per­tin­nen und Ex­per­ten als auch von Nach­wuchs­wis­sen­schaft­le­rin­nen und -wis­sen­schaft­lern ge­för­dert.
