Dustin M. Eddy M. Sc.

Part-time em­ploy­ee for the es­tab­lish­ment of a LoLa sys­tem (A low latency, high-qual­ity au­dio/video trans­mis­sion sys­tem for net­work mu­sic­al per­form­ances and in­ter­ac­tion) at mu­sic uni­versit­ies in North Rhine-West­phalia (NRW). This con­cerns the di­giFel-low pro­ject "Real-time mu­sic trans­mis­sion for teach­ing," an ini­ti­at­ive sup­por­ted by mul­tiple NRW uni­versit­ies. Ad­di­tion­ally, a prac­tic­al labor­at­ory su­per­vi­sor for the Mu­sic Acous­tics pro­gram, spe­cif­ic­ally fo­cus­ing on Acous­tic Meas­ure­ment Tech­niques and Op­er­a­tions of Mu­sic­al In­stru­ments.

In Au­gust 2016, she com­pleted her pro­fes­sion­al train­ing as a hear­ing care pro­fes­sion­al in Kon­stanz, Ger­many. She then ob­tained a Bach­el­or's and Mas­ter of Sci­en­ce de­gree in Au­di­ology from the Uni­versity of Lübeck and gained two years of pro­fes­sion­al ex­per­i­en­ce as a re­search as­so­ci­ate at the Ger­man Hear­ing Aid In­sti­tu­te in Lübeck.

Since June 2023, she has been work­ing as a re­search as­so­ci­ate at the Uni­versity of Mu­sic in Det­mold in the third-party pro­ject Wiki.AU­DIO.

In this role, she is re­spons­ible for au­thor ac­quis­i­tion for the in­ter­act­ive web­site Wiki.AU­DIO and the edit­ing of sub­mit­ted art­icles. She is very ex­cited about the col­lab­or­at­ive de­vel­op­ment of a com­pre­hens­ive and ver­sat­ile au­dio en­cyc­lo­pe­dia.
