Brahms hall control room

The Brahms hall is located in the main building of the university, the Palais, and serves predominantly as a smaller concert hall for chamber music, recital evenings, class recitals, examinations, etc.

In the course of the renovation work in the Palais from 2006 to 2007, this control room was completely redesigned and realised. The centrepiece is a Yamaha DM 2000 mixing console; for friends of good old analogue technology, a Studer 269 console is also available as an alternative. Geithain RL 903 monitors serve as stereo or 5.1 monitors.

Here, too, the recording students can choose whether to work with Sequoia (Magix) or Pyramix (Merging) DAW. A Bricasti M7 reverb processor provides the right sense of space for the recording and a Tascam CD recorder is available for "Live To 2 Track" recordings.
